Mentorship Program Objectives

  • Give encouragement, support and guidance.
  • RASEM 2 strives to recruit and train a group of highly qualified, motivated, and compassionate mentors. The mentors dedicate themselves to assisting other students with disabilities.
  • Introduce students with disabilities to university life and other campus resources.
  • Increase awareness and encourage K-12 students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
  • Understand the mission of the mentorship program is to assist other students with disabilities and strengthen the skills he or she has learned and develop higher level skills.
  • The RASEM 2 will be open throughout the semester for computer usage and student group area.
  • To increase the number of students with disabilities in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
  • Assist students to plan for their career after graduation.
  • To explore career opportunities in the STEM areas.
